Yeah, yeah, buying a wedding or engagement gift off the happy-couple's registry is easy peasy. But where's the fun in that? Where's the thrill of the hunt, the creativity, the aha moment when you know you've found the one? We say: dare to shop without the security of a preordained checklist. Be creative and you will give great gift. Dot & Bo, a local home design and furniture e-tailer, couldn't agree more. That is, with two important caveats, according to merchandising associate Stephanie Spiteri: "The gift needs to be either very personal or very useful." Makes sense to us. You?
