Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

HAYES VALLEY—PROXY (the outdoor space at 432 Octavia Street) is going to be full of a lot of C-R-A-P on Saturday, and you're really going to want to dig in. Of course, we speak of Crap® Eyewear, the fun, fresh, fashion-forward and reasonably priced sunglass brand. Tomorrow, from noon to 5pm, the LA-based line serves as the guest of honor at Azalea's Summer Kick Off. Plus, there will be lots of special guests, including Casey's Pizza and J-Shack food trucks, beer by Fort Point, It's-It ice cream, and tunes from the Paranoyds. And, yes, you'll save 15% on all Crap goodies (plus there's a free GWP). RSVP here. P.S. Azalea chose to hold the event at the awesome outdoor space to help support it's free walk-in movie theater Kickstarter.

OAKLAND—Everybody loves Urban Air Market, and on Sunday, Oakland-ers won't have to hop on BART or drive over any bridges to enjoy the latest outdoor mini-market of locally made, sustainable goods. Yessiree, just a few weeks after the Berkeley launch, Oakland gets its first-ever market at William Street at Telegraph. From 11am to 6pm, you'll find more than 50 local designers, roaming performance artists, and live music. Make sure to RSVP here to get a free Oaklandish tote from the event info booth.
