Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Your timing couldn't be better, The Sweatbar.
You see, the SF-based activewear e-tailer's first-ever pop-up coincides with our Hottest Trainer competition. We're pretty damn certain that seeing the chiseled abs and arms of our SF contestants has inspired many to amp up their own workouts—which, of course, requires chic, new fitness clothing.
Until September 30th, the Palo Alto pop-up (441 University Avenue) is open Tuesdays through Sundays, 11am to 7pm. All the brands available on the still-newish website (including favorites like Koral, Michi, Solow, Vimmia and L'Etoile) can be found on the racks at the real-world store. "We are excited to engage face to face with our customer and create a physical counterpart to her online go-to activewear destination," says founder Cheryl Baxter.
No doubt, buying the clothes is a cinch. Making it to the gym consistently? Err, umm, we'll try yes.
