Today Joie de vivre wafts through the Palo Alto air. Joie, known for its Cali-with-a French-twist style, opens the doors to its new 1,300 square-foot women's clothing store in Town & Country Village (855 El Camino Real). It's the label's second Northern California location—the first is on Fillmore Street in San Francisco. All of the brand's breezy and sophisticated collections, including Joie Soft and shoes, are available. "We are extremely excited to open our first store on the Peninsula." says Joie CEO Jack Schwefel.
The space itself draws on Joie's Parisian heritage (Frenchman Serge Azria is Chief Creative Officer, after all), and is modeled after a chic apartment in the City of Light. You'll find white oak floors, gray interior walls and weathered French architecture, plus signature vintage-inspired décor. Magnifique! Hours for the new Joie store are: Monday to Saturday 10am to 7pm, and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
