It may not be officially "legal" yet, but eBay is going all out for its 20th anniversary. Yesterday the San Jose-based global marketplace kicked off its 20 Days of Deals in the US. Translation: every day for 20 days, buyers will find incredible (for realz) deals on fashion, tech and home items from featured sellers. A few of the deals eBay was willing to tease include: Baume & Mercier men's watches for $779.99 (55 percent off) and HP Notebooks for $299.99, a 30 percent savings. Did we mention all 20 deals with have free shipping?
But wait there's more—its special customized Anniversary Airstream, traveling across the country, will be rolling up in SF today. It will be parked at Pier 41 in Fisherman's Wharf from 10am to 6pm and serving up $20 deals. Now, we're talking. The trio of products offered include: Audio Technica SonicFuel® Premium on-ear headphones (retails for $199.95), Seiko 5 Canvas-Strap Automatic Stainless Steel watch (retails for $185) and KitchenAid 2-Speed Hand Immersion blenders (retails for $59.99). The only bad news—just one item per customer. Good news: You can also shop the deals online.
Happy Birthday, eBay. Can't wait till you turn 21, so we can buy you a real drink.
