Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
One of our very favorite indie boutiques is getting ready for its very own housewarming party. Just shy of its two-year anniversary, Legion is making a move around the corner to 678 Commercial Street (between Kearny and Montgomery Streets). Shop owner Sydney Pfaff is beyond excited about the new digs, set to open on Monday, September 28th.
"The new space is beautiful and airy! It's right next to Chapel Hill Coffee, which serves delicious Four Barrel coffee on Commercial, a really cute and historic little street between Chinatown and the FiDi," she says. "While I've loved my Clay Street space, the opportunity came to me for this lovely new spot. It's one that I've had my eye on for as long as I've lived in San Francisco (almost 14 years!), and I knew it was fate."
The original spot (679 Clay Street) will be open through Saturday, so stop by for one last fix. A little birdie told us there's still plenty of shopping to be had, including chic new pieces from Kowtow (pictured above).
