Hey, Mayor Ed Lee: We think the time has come to officially change Union Street to Activewear Way. With The Sweatbar's new pop-up opening on Wednesday, March 9th, there's really no reason to shop elsewhere when in need of new workout/gal-about-town garb. (ICYMI, Lululemon, Lucy Activewear and Lorna Jane are all clustered within a few blocks on Cow Hollow's main shopping drag.)
Sorry, we digress...back to The Sweatbar. The SF-based e-shop, known for its sharply curated luxury activewear and athleisure, will be bringing its best game to the real world. The temporary store will focus on trendy styes with edgy details (mesh panels and zippers) as well as bright colors and bold patterns. What you really need to know? Everything is fashionable and functional. Labels you can expect to find include Koral, Michi, Solow, Vimmia and L'Etoile.
"I am absolutely thrilled to be opening a pop-up in San Francisco," says founder Cheryl Baxter. "Athleisure is a major trend, especially in this city, and I can't wait to show the range of pieces available at The Sweatbar to San Francisco's shoppers!"
Everyone's invited to the opening party on March 15th, 4pm to 7pm (RSVP@crossmarketingpr.com). Maybe a group run after?
The pop-up will be open daily, 11am to 6pm, through April 15th.
