When it comes to jewelry, we like our earrings, bracelets and rings like our makeup—natural, minimalist and expressive, never boring. And so it was lust at first sight when we encountered the Nave collection, the newest pieces from Sausalito-based designer Amy Nordstrom.
Inspired by the nave of Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona, the hand-forged gems ooze an Old World-meets-modern-day vibe. The cuff, necklace and ring play with negative and positive space giving the illusion that you've stacked or layered on several pieces at once, which, of course, you haven't. Love that.
We'd be more than thrilled to welcome any of these darlings to our jewelry box. But the one that really has us wrapped around its finger? The Nave ring, which comes in 14k gold and 14k gold with black diamonds (yes, please). Organic and sculptural, the three-tired ring is most certainly minimalist and definitely not boring. Exactly how we like it.
