You expect showers at the city's traditional gyms— the Crunches and Fitness SFs, Equinoxes— but locker rooms at boutique studios are less predictable. To take some of the guess work out of your post-fitness routine, we've mapped boutique studios around the city that offer both hard-core workouts and a place where you can get ready for work (or brunch). They may not all offer a range of Kiehl's bath products like Equinox, but at least you can avoid walking home in sweat-drenched clothes. Know of a studio we should add to the map? There's no way you won't sweat during House of Air's killer air conditioning classes. Luckily, both the men's and women's locker rooms have three showers each for your post-workout refresh.
Whether you're climbing or taking a yoga class, there's a locker room waiting for you at the end of your workout at Planet Granite. Each facility is equipped with lockers, a sauna, and showers. Towel service is complimentary.
While it lacks full lockers rooms, Sweat Republic has two bathrooms with showers. Both are next to the workout areas, so cut out your shower singing or risk serenading a class.
Instead of full locker rooms, the original San Francisco SoulCycle has two single-person shower rooms, two changing rooms, and two bathrooms. There's always a line, so try to be quick.
