Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Truth be told, we can wear boots year-round in San Francisco. And whether you call it a blessing or a curse, our city has no dearth of shops to supply our eternal-fall footwear needs. We're lucky enough that Freda Salvador calls SF home, and the brand's only boutique is located here. On the other end of the spectrum, we've got Barneys to fulfill our desires for far-flung brands like Isabel Marant and Balenciaga. And our city by the bay offers everything in between. Check out our handy-dandy map to boot-shop your way around the city.
