The official-official start to summer is almost here (June 21^st lest you forget). In San Francisco that means cone after cone of drippy Humphry Slocombe Secret Breakfast ice cream, toasty cardis layered over hopeful sundresses, and countless weekends of festival-hopping. But, alas, it also means—cue scary music—the time for the so-not-fun bikini wax has arrived.

Most of us dread landscaping our nether regions—but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. And let's be real, the Coppola pool is not exactly kind to the unwaxed. Ergo, this helpful guide/map to SF's best spots for bikini waxing; salons are listed alphabetically. Now just groom and bear it.
